Since 1915, we have been a privately held, family run business. Our customer base consists of more than 3,000 clients throughout the Northeast, including acute-care facilities, nursing homes, long-term and assisted living facilities, surgical centers and diagnostic clinics, as well as professional, medical and dental offices.
Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of a Linen Worker to distribute linen at one of Westchester s premiere Hospitals - Westchester Medical Center.

Hourly rate is $13. 00

Schedule varies: either 7:00am - 3:30pm OR 2:30pm - 11:00pm. MUST be flexible and available to work either shift plus weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities & Requirements include:

  • Distribute linens to various departments within the hospital
  • Stock and restock shelves
  • Union benefits
  • MUST have flexibility to work various hours (mornings, evenings, weekends) totaling 40 hours per week
  • No experience necessary
  • Must be able to lift loads of linens and push carts filled with linens (50+ lbs)
  • Due to schedule, own transportation / car is needed as there is no direct mass transit to this location if living outside of Westchester County (on-site parking expenses ARE COVERED by the company)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
