Asset Management Summer Intern II

The Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses ("CEB") are wholly owned subsidiaries of Consolidated Edison, Inc. ("CEI"). The CEBs develop, own and operate renewable energy projects and provide energy services to wholesale, commercial and government customers throughout the United States.

Intern Program
Dates: June 3, 2019 through August 9, 2019Location: Valhalla, NY officeLength of Program: 10-weeks (40 hour work week)Paid internship program
TimelineApplications: October 14, 2018 ? December 7, 2018 Interviews: October 2018 - April 2019, on a rolling basis
Based on your background and interests, you will be matched to, interview with, and work on a team for 10 weeks during the summer.
Program Requirements:? Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program in Sophomore year or later, or graduate program at an accredited institution taking at least one class in the semester prior to the internship program and returning to school for at least one semester upon completion of the internship program? Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or greater? Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and be flexible in meeting assignments? Excellent analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills and a high energy level are required? Previous entry level work experience strongly preferred? Must have strong oral and written communication skills
Summer Internship Details/Description:

The purpose of this Summer Internship is to provide college students with work experience in their chosen academic field.
Support the entire Asset Management team in various activities as needed, which can include:
Preparing asset reports summarizing operating and/or financial data? Reviewing and summarizing contract compliance requirements? Gathering and reporting data and information for contract compliance and other purposes? Performing reviews, analysis and investigations as required to support to Asset Management oversight and administration? Also assisting in review and preparation of ROC operating reports summarizing key data and metrics as needed
Candidate will gain experience working and interacting with asset managers, asset analysts, engineers and senior management in performing regularly scheduled activities as well as one-off tasks. In general, the candidate can expect an opportunity to learn about solar and wind power generation technology, its contractual framework, and on-going oversight from operations, compliance, and financial perspectives.
Excellent interpersonal skills? Superior analytical abilities, detail-oriented? Facility/aptitude to understand and interpret contracts preferred? Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word ? Engineering, math, finance or other quantitative degree

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
