My name is Josh and I represent The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Scientist III for a prominent Fortune 500 client of ours. This position is located in Valhalla NY. Details for the positions are as follows:
Job Description
natural product chemistry and (HPLC or high performance liquid chromatography)
Supports the discovery of new active botanical ingredients
Executes lab experiments for the extraction, isolation and identification of natural products
Communicates results with appropriate partners.
Identifies and performs feasibility testing (sensory, stability, etc.) on new ingredients to drive innovation, productivity or improved quality.
Technical depth with Analytical Chemistry, Natural Product Chemistry or relevant Food Science experience
Good technical writing and communication skills
Open-minded, innovative, takes initiatives, practical problem-solver
Ability to work on multiple priorities at one time
Report relevant observation of unexpected events during experiments
Must be thorough and well-organized in her/his work
