Under general supervision an incumbent of this class assists in providing for the management of patient care by means of clinical expertise gained in a specialized aspect of nursing care for Kidney Acquisition-Pre and Post Renal Transplant including long-term follow-up for patients.
Supervision may be exercised over a small support staff.
License:
Possession of a valid license and current registration, issued by the State of New York, to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Training and
Experience:
Three years of professional nursing experience in a hospital or health care agency,where the primary function of the position was nursing in a hospital or health care agency, two years of which must have been in the area of specialization.
